I'm not getting rid or my Hd dvd player, it's still great. I just picked up the Bourne Trilogy this week. I may get a BD player, but not until I can get one with an RJ45 port and under $200.

Hollywood video also rents BD and HDDVD's. The rental fee is .40 more... Yes 40 cents more to rent the HD version of movies.

No joke. You pay a price for being on the bleeding edge, but I love the way HD DVDs look on my plasma. I am sure blurays will look the same. The cheap players enticed me, I guess now I can almost rent anything from netflix in hd if I get a bluray player.

I really don't care who wins. Just pick a damn format and lets run with it.

y, I was, I thought it would win. More people still buy hddvds. But if the studios jump, nowhere to go.

Y, they are just expensive still. And unless new one is better, they didn't have all features.
