I am on my second BD player, I had the samsung 1500, good player, but it lacked BD live, which I couldn't care much about. But the new 2500/2550 is completely networked, and even has netflix built in. So with my netflix account, I can add movies to my instant queue, and go to my blu ray player with my remote, select one and start watching. The quality is CRAP compared to my apple tv, but I am sure it will get better. But its basically free, I only have the 2 disc netflix account, and I can watch any instant movie anytime on my plasma with this BD player, and I don't pay extra for it.

I would love if apple tv came out with a subscription, because the quality is amazing.

I have Blu Ray because I have a Sony Camcorder and a PlayStation 3. At the time, it was cheaper to buy the PlaySation 3 than a Blu Ray player.

Yes and no. You learn how to do that kind of stuff, there is a market for your schools. Check out the experience of DVD Jon. He was your age when he started this whole thing.

"In July 2007, Richard Doherty of the Envisioneering Group (BD+ Standards Board) declared: 'BD+, unlike AACS which suffered a partial hack last year, won't likely be breached for 10 years.' Only eight months have passed since that bold statement, and Slysoft has done it again. According to the press release, the latest version of their flagship product AnyDVD HD can automatically remove BD+ protection and allows you to back-up any Blu-ray title on the market."
