Got the big fill and big drain pumps plumbed and installed. The 1.5 inch hose is tough to deal with and drilling 4-1-1/2 holes in the boat is scary scary stuff Mounted the fill pumps to bottom of the hull on their own plastic boards. The plastic boards are then liquid nailed to the hull.

Chunky. I thought you were moving all the batts and what not?

Your boat is going to look like someone opened up a fire hydrant on the side when you go to drain the bags! Your picture of the pump is confusing me because it just doesn't seem possible that the thru-hull next to the exhaust is where the pump is next to the batteries in that picture.

Aerators or these pumps don't lock water in the sac when off like impellers. So I vent and drain to the opposite or high side. Basically the empty pump for the starboard sac empties out the port thru hull. Simple fix to keeping water in the bag.

Not going to move batteries, I am going to buy sealed ones and get rid of the battery boxes, everything fits if I do that.

Yep that is one of the drain pumps, I will post lots of pictures later. Hopefully fill times will be around 5+ minutes and drain will be around 4.5 or so. The fill pumps are below water line next to the v-drive.

What kind of plastic are you using for those boards? Are you making new engine bay partitions out of it as well?

I had some left over stuff. I haven't decided on the dividers yet.

I'd love to see a photo of how you fit two of those big bad boys in the space around the v-drive.

Here you go. You can see the huge 1-1/2 flapper valve!

I'm assuming the brass fittings just after the thru-hulls are the flappers? Basically just check valves in brass?
