what? did they raise the price back up? I was about to pull the trigger...for a lousy 300 bux..

(i know that sounds weird) compared to the $664 I'm about to spend on a 4'6" Danielo that's a bargain

Sure wish they'd have a liquidation sale on some of these hi dollar skim styles

        Shade on me action sports

I was gonna call today OR make BoardCo match their price and maybe get a better color choice

Instead I spent the whole day workin on the boat. Punctured a rear sac on an exposed bolt (it was covered with fat piece of rubber but it fell off and fkd up my custom 2000 lb. WM' sac)

They are all over the place with the price, you would think they were Amazon or something Wait a till Monday and it might drop again. I wonder how many folks on this forum bought one of these? Maybe they figured it was too low with all the sales? Perhaps WABoating cleaned them out (haha)? Mine is supposed to arrive Monday... which means a Monday evening surf session! Thanks again Stingreye!

I'm only buying one if WABoating personally signs it...

since it's surf style I'd prefer one WITHOUT the deck pad so I can scamper around on it

video on Youtube with Parks explaining the board is cool

              4'7" is my size too

I might just have to give them a call...

Their surf board page shows $300, http://www.liquidationsports.com/Wakesurf, but after you click on the board it shows $405 on the individual page.

Yup we messed that deal up...

we should have been publicly dissin' the boards...and then all of us should cleaned them out at 300 on the same day. Sorta' like inside traders do

No, but now that I stopped in and signed all of them they figure they're worth more!

But seriously... I did stop in today. The store folks did not know that the online price had been $300. They finally accepted that it had been, and agreed to match the price for me. But I started looking around and ended up getting a Parks Thruster Five Footer instead. My thinking was that rather than have a second identical board, this would expand our quiver a bit and give us a longer/larger board for our bigger friends who struggle on our shorter ones. After some haggling they gave me the same $300 price on this board (list was $~650) so I feel really good about how everything worked out. The new board is basically exactly the same as the 4-7 Carbon Thruster except 1) longer, 2) not carbon, and 3) has three double fin boxes instead of five. It did come with three 2.9 fins and the fins are interchangable with the ones on the 4-7 so we can do lots of experimentation. I really like the fact that the nose and tail of the boards are the same, including the aggressive nose rocker.

Nice people, nice store. They had two of the 4-7 CT's on the shelf and presumably many more in the warehouse. I'd buy from them again.

I was also gonna pressure them to match that 300

                          300...BAM!!!

The store people confirmed the physical store would match their online prices. They have their dedicated website (liquidationsports.com) and an eBay store too.

If someone could look back in their browser cache and find the page that shows they had them for $300, I think a copy of that would solve the problem. They seemed like very honest and straightforward people - you just need to "show" them. That's how it works with a lot of these places... they'll match/beat a price but you have to show physical proof.

                              Here's a question:

Why are these boards so cheap?

I wanna pull the trigger but I hate buying boards before surfing them...

Also I need a nice vest. Maybe they have some deals on vests

They told me they are demos or minor blems. They showed me a couple of the "blems", and they really are minor. One example was the graphics under the "gel coat" (if that's what you call it over carbon fiber) were not quite perfect in a half-inch-square area on one edge. Another had a place where the carbon weave didn't look perfect, it was about the size of the end of a pencil's eraser. Neither one would have kept me from saving 50% on the board.

Also, these are 2013 models. I suspect they were closeouts at the factory, making room for 2014 production.
