are you saying your sub is in the battery compartment under the dash. That seems to be where I see everyones but he is saying that I have about 2 cubic square of more instead of 1 cubic square needed.

ok, then I would either get a sub with less space, or move it to where you can get the air space. My sub under my dash fits perfectly in it's box. It's a Solorbaric so it doesn't need as much space. Don't skimp on air space.

on the off topic a sub there would hit hard for the driver but you would need a big amp and sub to push it harder for the rest of the car. I have one in by my feet on my boat and it's really nice!!

quick off topic question? where do you guys have you subs? I have a friend putting my in but he did this professionally and it has got to be right if you know what I mean. I can't say anything because the boat was his dad's before he pass away. I sat in his truck yesterday and I couldn't tell were the sub was and when I closed my eyes the entire band was right in front of me. WOW did it sound good. His suggestion was to build a box the proper size for the sub and put it under the drivers area, what do you guys think? It will take up a lot of space but I'm sure the sound will be better.
