BCS nightmare!!!!! --- Possible Scenario

BYU keeps most of their good players as does OU, so it will be a huge success if we just can even hang close with OU. TCU creamed BYU and OU creamed TCU, but it would be fun game to watch if BYU can get up for it. Good luck in the big game!

It's actually supposed to be a MAJOR rebuilding year for us next year. We'll see if it's a rebuilding year or another reloading year.

On offense we lose 4 players from our O line, and more than likely the 5th. Possibly one RB is rumored to be leaving, the nations top tight end, our 3 top recievers, our back up QB, and last but not least....more than likely a heisman winning QB. (to bad we kicked off the Jarboe kid, as he could have helped at reciever). So as you can see, on offense we'll be totally new except for at running back where we're fine.

The good news is on defense we return almost everyone... except we lost both our safeties. One of which had a stellar year and will be REALLY hard to replace. Luckily we have 2 of the top 10 safety recruits in the nation that will prob. see immediate playing time.

Well BYU should get it's shot next year. First game is OU at Jerry World. Take into account OU will be in a major rebuilding year, and possibly w/o Stoops... could be a Big Opp. for them.

It's not the salary cap anymore, that's a non factor until 2011 now. It's the fact that the guys are worried that almost the entire O-line is gone, Gresham's about 90% sure he's gone, if Bradford leaves, etc. So alot of the guys aren't wanting to stick around for their senior season b/c it would be a rebuilding year. Guess we'll just see what happens.

Woohoo.... Stoops came out today and said he is NOT a candidate for the Denver job!

Don't be suprised if we loose alot more underclassmen than you think. ALOT of the guys are discussing declaring as they are worried about next year.

I don't know what to think of the Stoops to Denver thing. The timing is very right for him to leave though. He might not even get the job offer though.... so we'll see.

I couldn't stand listening Switzer last night. For that reason alone, I am glad that Utah spanked Bama! That was a great game, well at least for us in the Mountain West. Now, another 3 years of probation to see if we (MWC) are BCS worthy. What a crock! We have three teams in the top 25. The Utes beat 3 ranked teams to get where they are at, but the MWC isn't worthy The Cougars stunk their bowl game up, I'm a Ute fan now. I think that Utah, TCU, and BYU will be tough teams next year.
