I'm not claiming that the PAC defenses are the greatest. All year long the PAC 10 has taken it on the chin for being a weak conference, yet in the bowl season they go 5-0. There is only one defense in the PAC 10 that is worth talking about and you can see for yourself where they rank. I do think that the big 12 is being exposed a little bit in the bowl season, the ultimate test will be how the Sooners do against Florida. I don't think that Ohio State deserved a BCS bowl bid and the Fiesta bowl just proved that, I think.

Texas did make OSU look silly when they went to the no huddle, I just don't think that that type of Offense can be sustained for the entire game. I would have loved to see Texas play a tougher opponent, and I think that if they had played that way against a tougher opponent, they would have lost. They needed a last minute touchdown to beat a weak (IMO) Ohio State team. Ohio State's offense is about as exciting as vanilla ice cream.

I think that Utah played a fantastic game against Alabama and that the Utes now really have something to cry about, because they should now have a claim to some sort of NC.

I did notice that Brian Orakpo was held on nearly every play, but hey. Colt McCoy did look a bit on edge, like the pressure got to him. Chris Wells is a heck of a running back...when he went out, Ohio State really suffered.

It was pretty entertaining, all in all. Not sure how different teams would have fared against each other...so much of it is a match-up thing. I would have liked to have seen Texas vs. Alabama or Utah instead.

Maybe you didn't notice the missed or bad calls, the mistakes that both offenses made, Ohio State kept shooting themselves in the foot and couldn't score a touchdown in the first half when they should have been up by two or three at halftime.

If it were anybody other than Ohio State Texas would have lost big. They don't have defense in the big 12.

Ugliest game? are you kidding me? It was a Defensive battle! That's what happens with two defenses and offensives that struggled a bit. Defensive games do not draw big crowds or good approvals, but they are GREAT Games.

HA, yea he listened, they looked a lot looser that drive. After the D forced the 3 and out, if the offense can put another drive together that will start OSU slide.

I'm not to worried about their D. They're bend but don't break. Two field goals at half isn't bad. It's their damn offense, I'm worried about. They have changed their game plan they've used all year and trying to copy the Big 10. Why won't Colt take off w/ the ball????? And why won't he get back to throwing the damn thing.

    Mac Brown: Hello
The rest of the world: TX your running game is horrible, it has been all year...QUIT
RUNNING IT! If you must run, only let Colt!

Oh my. Is anyone else watching the "Defense" of the big 12? TX better settle down and play some assignment on D or the Sweater Vest might shock the world.
