I don't think they are gonna get spanked by Florida. Don't get me wrong, I hope you are right, I would love a blow out (less stress). I think the score will somewhat depend on whether or not Harvin plays, if he is even close to healthy then I don't see Bama out scoring Gators, too many weapons to stop and the Gator D has really started to gel. If he is out (I think he will be) then it will be closer for sure. If Gators win out they will goto the NC game IMO, I realize how unhappy that will make some, but if they beat #1 (deserving or not) in the conference championship game of a pretty difficult conference I don't see how you can not send them to the NC game. But there still some football left to be played and Bama has pretty good team so we shall see.

What I just don't see is this. FL has to gain 90, yes 90 points in the human polls to overtake TX for the number 3 spot. I just don't see how this will be possible. I mean we shall see after the playing Sat and then the poll release Sunday but 90 points? wow. Plus with all of the TX whining about not going the human voters are giving them votes too. It will be interesting.

The question is what if FL barely beats bama, what happens then? will FL jump TX? this sunday is gonna be interesting, well so is SAT!!

BTW, all 4 teams probably have a legitimate gripe about not being in the NC. If you had a 2 game playoff (semi and final), we'd be in for some great football. Most years I think you'd have a hard time finding 4 more evenly matched teams.

Both the TX argument and OU's argument are sound. The sad part is, in half the leagues OU would win the tie breaker, and in the other half TX would win. So no matter what you did, someone was gonna be B*tching.

The best part of it all for us OU fans though.... Not only did TX have to route for us to win Sat. night (I bet that was hard) so that Tech didn't go ahead of you guys. But in the end.... it didn't matter. So we get the easier path to the NCG and get to screw TX over in the end! Great stuff for us sooner fans!
