What do you think the odds are of USC and Utah playing each other -- I would love to see that match up.

I don't think that it will happen. Here is my reasoning. Assuming the NC game is between the SEC and Big 12 winners. That would leave one from each conference left as at large teams. The ways that the bowls pick is in the order that they lost their "anchor team". So, for example, Florida is Number 1, then the sugar bowl would get the first pick to replace Florida. They would probably pick Alabama. Then the Fiesta Bowl would get to pick to replace Texas or Oklahoma. They would probably pick the other team (Texas or Oklahoma). I'm not sure how it shakes out from there because the Orange Bowl has to factor into the pecking order somehow. They get the ACC champion as their anchor team and then an at large pick. At this point there are three teams, USC, Utah and the Big east champ who will get picked by those three bowls. I may be wrong but that is how I've understood it.

That's only our SOS (strength of Schedule) that I'm referring to there. Not sure if you caught that or not.

Well, there's that little problem of head-to-head where TX gets the nod...I believe they won by 10. As they say, "that's why they play the game.

O well hell.... then I guess that means Tech is the real #2 in the BCS? Remember they did beat you guys! In fact if you watched that game.... they manhandled you guys, despite what the score says.

Normally I would be happy to get tickets to go see a college game, doesn't really matter who. Just not this wkend... I got married on the wkend of the Fl vs Fl St. game, I think I have got to see 3 of these game in the last 11 years. My wife told me this wkend we are going to see Wake Forest play somebody.

This was not funny at the time, I think I would have been our 3rd year of being married and I finally was going to get to see the game. Couldn't wait, and I course my sister in law decides she going to have her baby. Man I was bummed out, I was actually thinking should I wait till the end of the game to tell my wife. She told after I let that slip that wouldn't have been a good idea. We laugh about it now. Still married too... When we got to the hospital my mother in law kept asking me what was wrong.

but they lost to TT where we CRUSHED TT. They barely beat baylor, where we crushed them and they may loose to A&M this weekend, if that's the case then we have to have TT beat baylor or else......

I agree with you and Think right now FL and OU are playing the best football. However, the reason I like college football is it changes every week. OU was not playing good ball in OCT, but then they turned it around. I still dont think Bama will stand a wing in a prayer against FL. I expect FL to put at least 60 on them. Oh well time will tell.

OU still has to beat OSU. I just hope we win. Gameday was there I think 5 years ago and we won since they missed a last second field goal. I hope we win, but not a guy wrenching decision like that.

USC could play any of the top teams and be competitive.............

Glad that the Beaver's pulled than one out. USC would love to play any of the four teams above them in the Fiesta or Sugar Bowl.
