I'm really shocked that FL. is only giving 3 pts to OU as well. Is vegas considering this a home game for FL and therefore saying it's a pickem? The line was 2.5 to begin with when it opened this morning, but went to 3 almost instantly. I figured they would have gave OU at least 6, maybe more like 7.

Sorry Tanner & Domz, I think you are wrong. They will NOT underestimate anything. Urban knows they are a great team, but he also knows that Florida is a great team.

With that said, you need to think about this! They play 4 wks from this Thursday I think, Bradford is having surgery today (right). The passing game will be affected more then the run. I know they have a good running game but they can't beat Florida w/out the passing game. That long layoff isn't a good thing. I think that is another thing they should change.

Um first off his surgury has nothing to do with his passing game. It's his non throwing hand, he will have tape on it just like he had before, Passing game not effected.

Second: Sure you can beat a team with the run game. Running eats up the clock and controls the tempo of the game. If you own the clock u win the game. OU controlled the game and ran all over FL st in 2000 and won. Our defense can shut Tebow down. We are used to an active QB, I mean look at OSU, TT, UT, MU. Pretty sure we are used to a mobile QB.

FL lost to an Unranked team, at least we lost to a ranked team.

FL has not played anyone with a QB like bradford, and a running game like OU. There only experience against someone like that is when they play their own team in practice.

We have scored more points then any team In NCAA history and have scored 60+ in the last 6 games, including 2 top 10 teams and 1 top 20 team, you don't see FL doing that. Also most of those games Bradford was out the entire 4th quarter.

All that being said, am I seeing a blow out, only if OU scores first and holds them and then scores again. It's going to be a good game, and both teams are ready to play. I'll be rooting for OU (Duh ) and were gonna take the NC game and split it with UT, just watch.

I am not big believer in bulletin board material. Stoops is too good of a coach and OU is way too good of a team to "need" motivation. If you are not ready to play on the big stage then you messed up and deserve to get your as* kicked. Sorry Buckeyes, tis true.

I think it will be shoot out for sure, I stand by my original prediction if Florida is 100% healthy then I don't see anyone beating them. If everyone is back then I honestly think they are more talented and better balanced team then 96 and 06. OU is a great team though and it will not be a 06 style blow out, Stoops will be ready to play.

As far as "home team advantage" , NC games are not really normal game, they are more like Superbowls and more about high dollar alumni then hard core fans. I was in AZ in 06 and it was like 85% OSU fans. OSU is known to travel very well and Florida, not so much. IMO distance has nothing to do with it, all about the alum that travel. Florida typically does not travel well and true being in Miami will help that some, but not huge. I bet it is fairly even split of fans. Either way, I could not ask for a better match up , very excited to see them both play because I like Stoops, always have. Well I would like to play Missouri or Boise State since they are undefeated and I saw them saying they should go....., THAT would be fun. I love blow outs :-) I would give them a blue field and 40 pts.

Well, I think all the teams have gotten better. Honestly, FL lost to an unranked team. I think all 3 are pretty good...it'll be interesting to see how they play each other. Maybe we'll get lucky and Alabama will play TX. Then we'd know.

LOL... It's normal Dom. It almost seems like everytime we played in the BCS NCG, it's a home game for the other team. 2 of the 3 previous BCS NCG games we've been to were essentially home games.... LSU in LA, FL. State in Miami.

Man it was close..... we almost got that OU/TX rematch. 5 of the 6 computers had TX ranked ahead of FL. If OU had garnered more votes from FL. in the coaches poll we would have had a rematch. To bad.
