Okay guys spent 2 days in the water and headed to BWW as we speak with DP Powell.

All here...water is great 79 degrees and calm. For launching purposes, launch on the right side of the dock if facing the water. Ramp conditions are good but 4x4 may be required dor retrieving for those with heavier boats. I have a giant Tige banner in front of my room and trailer is parked out front as well (room 5). If anyone needs anything this is where I'll be. Again VHF channel 5 is the event channel and I keep my radio on me most of the time. Hope to see everyone out there and safe travels.

Dave and I just made a mistake, we are almost to BWW, and realized dinner is at 7:00!! We apologize, we will hang out till 7 when everyone arrives. But if anyone is in the area and wants to come by and say hello or is near by this early feel free.

Well, crap. I hadn't been on here for quite a while, had the wrong dates in my head, and we won't be able to make it. The dinglets and I are pretty disappointed. Hope y'all have a blast, and I will definitely mark it down on the family calendar next year.

Where can I get a VHF radio is it the same thing as a talk about? Or what is a good brand I can pick up in a truck stop or best buy on the away?

Goodtimes 619- we picked up a Cobra VHF radio last night at Bass Pro Shop for $109. theGerman618 and H20sk8er have the same model and it's working great for them out here. If you haven't headed out yet, there's a Bass Pro Shop in Rancho Cucamonga right next to the 15 on your way.
