Thats what we meant by the transition. The R20/RZR previous to VX has a more abrupt, tougher transition. The VX REALLY helps it out. Gives it a transition that many wide 22' foot boats would be proud of.Originally posted by zroutt View PostLike Ragboy said, the wave before was good, it is just better with the VX. My favorite part of our new shape to the wave is we have this clean open face landing area when you come charging from the back for landing airs.http://wake9.com/

Ragboy, yes it is. We love that we can haul this thing anywhere and when we are done we can put it in our garage that is 24' deep. Plus get a wave like that. Can't wait for the new brackets to get here.Originally posted by ragboy View PostYes, RJ and Takoh both loved the wake. To see that kind of a wake on a 20FT, 99" beam boat, is just nuts.2013 RZR w/ConvexVX

The new brackets are going to allow you to get more push with less weight, and you will have more adjustability on the taps. Without the brackets, we had adjustability from like taps 1-3 or 4, after that it didn't make much difference, with the new brackets, up to 6 or 7. You may have negated the need for the brackets with 12 people in the boat, but when surfing normally, not loaded down like that, the brackets will make a huge difference.Originally posted by zroutt View PostRagboy, yes it is. Awesome, can't wait! Thanks for the validation and all the testing you did with Squid, Rick and the rest of the Tige crew.Originally posted by ragboy View PostThe new brackets are going to allow you to get more push with less weight, and you will have more adjustability on the taps. That has been our experience, arguably a small difference from taps 1-4, then nothing noticeable after that. We have the stock surf ballast, and if we don't have and extra 500 pounds of people in the boat it is hard to get push out of the wave. However 5 or more people in the boat and the wave becomes killer! Looking forward to the new brackets and perhaps some extra bags in the futureOriginally posted by ragboy View PostThe new brackets are going to allow you to get more push with less weight, and you will have more adjustability on the taps. We also noticed, that on the RZR/R20, it doesn't have pro ballast, only surf. And it seemed fine on the regular wave, but on the goofy wave, we had issues dialing it in. We added some weight to the front, moved a couple of peeps, but probably equivalent to 300 lbs, and then Voila! it rocked.http://wake9.com/

Looks like a pretty nice clean wave....here is my 12 RZR W/O convex vx. I would like to surf behind a boat with convex VX setup correctly, so far the ones I have been behind were not impressive.

sa0303, yes we have. I have video of it on my pc at home. It is just as long and as big. It is a different setup than regular side. Speed is faster. 11-11.2 compared to regular side of 10.4-10.6. And we add a little weight to the port side when surfing goofy vs regular side all the weight is on the port side.Originally posted by sa0303 View PostZroutt, have you dialed in the goofy side? Is it has long as what is in the video? That is impressive!2013 RZR w/ConvexVX
