    Marine Power Impeller

Does anyone know what kind of impeller that Marine Power engines use? Is it the same as what Mercruisers use? I have the Marine Power HT 360HP engine.

Also does anyone have an idea on where the impeller housing is located? I am taking my boat on a small vacation and wanted to be prepared in case anything happens.

    Thanks

It does not use a Merc impeller but a MAYFAIR/JOHNSON Impeller part number 09812B.

Inside the little housing. The cover can be removed with a straight blade screw driver.

The one from Overton's is right for sure and the other one I do not know.

Matt, did you replace your impeller? How was it? According to Lee's post, you can remove the impeller cover with a screw driver and not have to remove any belts or hoses. Please let me know. Thanks, TD
