    So should PCM, right?

Also, when I mentioned to my nearest Tige dealer (across the state line, BTW) that I do my own maintenance work, they got very "cold". Given that, I suspect that asking for help getting a service manual, and answering questions about winterization and maintenance, that makes me even LESS dependent upon them won't be met with a whole lot of enthusiasm on their part.

Yeah, but I'm trying to prepare for winterization. And at the rate PCM is delivering customer "service", it's a good thing I started early.

I want a factory service manual for the EX-343 CAT. Not the owner/operator manual (I have that in printed and PDF form). I want the actual service manual that is used when working on the engine. I expect to pay for it - they're seldom cheap - but they're invaluable for having around when troubleshooting things. Or when you need some light reading {grin}.

I also want to talk to someone about maintenance and winterization. For example, that "fuel cell" thing they've got... any maintenance required? Any filter elements inside that need replacing, and on what schedule? How often do they recommend the injectors be cleaned and matched? That sort of thing.

I'm wondering if they believe their customer is the boat manufacturer, and not the boat owner. While the name on their invoice may be Tige or Nautique or whomever, the guy paying the retail price tag is ultimately the customer. Perhaps they've forgotten where the money ultimately comes from....

I spoke with the truck driver this morning. It's supposed to arrive tomorrow (Wednesday) morning around 9am.

    ANGRY at PCM Engine Group...

I've called them TWICE now and left voicemails per their instructions. No one ever calls back. This morning, I called and when the instructions said to press zero for immediate assistance, I did so - and was disconnected!

I sure hope their engines work better than their Customer (non)Service.
Working...
