Could be ignition or fuel injection related.Have you put new plugs in it recently?Does it have plug wires?Coil could be going bad.

Is it worse when the car sits for awhile? Sounds like the fuel pressure is bleeding off back through the pump. Common problem on the Delco pumps.

I was kind of thinking plugs and wires myself.

Iwndr the same thing. I hate throwing parts though. It wouldn't hurt putting new ones in they are old.
