I had popping noise thru the speakers over the 4th holiday and it turned out to be the head unit is bad. Tige won't get a shipment until friday so that leaves it in the shop until Wed.

Its a 1 1/2 hours away. I drove it for 4 days without it over the holiday and it drove me nuts.

I bet you could just go buy the HU somewhere for about $200 and asked to be reimbursed. Or just take the one Tihe is sending and return it to where you bought one and get your $ back.

Don't know if it's right or not but I was told that the HU is specific to the Touch system and that is why I have to wait.
