    Saw Obama and his boys.

They had come for my wallet

here is some background on him,
The Senator's first name, Barack, is a Swahili name that has its origins in the Arabic language. The original Arabic root of the name (B-R-K) means "blessed." In Arabic, the root word is used in many other phrases to denote blessings and to describe people who are blessed:

    Mabruk! = "Congratulations!"
Barakallah feek = "May God bless you"
Barakah = blessings from God (feminine version of the name)
Senator Obama's middle name is Hussein, which was his grandfather's first name. The name, of Arabic origin, means "good" or "handsome one." It is common in Muslim cultures for children (both boys and girls) to have a middle name which directly connects them to their father or grandfather.
Senator Obama's surname is not uncommon among the Luo tribe, one of the three largest ethnic groups in Kenya. They speak the Dhoulou language

The part that kills me is everyone that voted for Obomination got suckered. The guy has done "nothing" in the past 7 years. Nothing! So, lets not call this man president elect, or President Obama.......His true title is President Nothing.

I'm starting to believe TV has truly made 52% of America brain
    dead.
I have been staying out of this, but I have to say something. Today's society is completely TV based. It's apparent by the way that all anyone young does is watch TV. The reason Obama won is exactly that reason, he bought more TV time and straight ballot voting. He also is not white, so he got a lot of votes that way because as Tanner pointed out they all voted for him.

Todays kids would rather watch TV then go outside and play catch, or wakeboard or swim or do anything. This is why I love seeing kids outside enjoying the air and the environment.

As a society there is nothing we can do. He is the president (soon) and we as a nation choose him. Yes, maybe you didn't vote for him, but we got him. If you don't like him, then in two years vote to change the congress so they don't agree with everything he says.

It is apparent that we as a society are letting the gov't take more and more away from us. We need to watch it or we will loose everything. So if you don't like it get out and vote, or stay home and shut up.

EDIT - it was actually 53% of the popular vote that went to Obama, it doesn't matter who voted in previous elections. I don't think that is a statistic, if you voted for McCain you are in fact in the minority.

How about you complain about what he has or hasn't done after he takes office? You need to support your President and at least give him a chance. Once he has been given a chance and doesn't do what you were hoping, THEN you can complain since you didn't vote for him.

Since you wanted McCain in office so bad, what did you do to help him get elected? Did you donate money? Did you donate time? Did you make campaign calls or go knock on people's doors? Kind of interesting that Obama had so many people helping him out and donating money in record amounts and McCain and the people that would be directly affected by Obama's tax plan sat back and just complained instead of making sure that "their guy" got into office, after all, it was a popularity contest.

    Hopefully you all voted...

I had a history professor that once said if you dont vote, you outta keep it shut. If you vote however it is your right to voice your opinion. I tend to agree with him.

IMHO, it is time to support the President where it seems appropriate and where it does not, work through local/state/federal government officials as deemed necessary. It might not be the perceptive case in everyone's book, but it is a government for, of and by the people as long as we the people speak up.
