My brother has a friend in college who was talking about how great the redistribution plan is. So I explained it to him like this. His name is Graham. I said, "Graham, do you make good grades in college?" He said, "Yes, I almost have a 4.0." I asked, "Do you work hard to get that 4.0?" He said he spends atleast 2-3 hours a day studying in the library. Welcome to Canadas health care system! Some people here worry about a private health care system but why should I have to wait when I have paid all my life the same amount of time as people that dont pay and abuse the system. I got to see this every day when I worked on the city ambulance.Just an opinion from a Canadian.

No, I think you need to read his books and listen to his interviews. He clearly thinks that wealth needs to be redistributed in order to fix social injustice. I'm all for fixing social injustice, but not if the recipient has no skin in the game. I worked hard to be where I'm at and he's telling me it's ok for the government to take my earnings and give them to someone else who didn't have to do anything for it. It's like Robin Hood, steal from the rich and give to the poor. It's funny if it's not you.

I have to agree with what sparky said, if you don't like it don't click on them. If this forum is just for Tige then I should close out the PW thread, BCS thread and any other off topic thread. I personally dont like the PW thread, if I wasnt Admin of this board I would never click on it but its part of what I have to do here. However I am not going to close it because I don't like it. Other people enjoy posting on there so I have to be fair.

The same can apply for these political/religious threads. To be quite honest the threads here are actually very tame and civil. Try viewing those same threads on another forum. Its gets ugly quickly.

Aw, c'mon now. Clearly with the newly elected president we all need to censor our writings lest we offend someone. Time to get politically correct and let the gov't run our lives...clearly they can do it better than we can. Start spreadin' the wealth while you're at it, too.
