They just want the house and boat given to them. Pretty soon Charlie will be building boats for free or else.

Just trying to keep it light. To many people are taking this to serious and not getting behind our country. If he does a bad enough job we can vote him out of office somehow like we did with Gray Davis in CA. That of course would take the country telling the government they are fed up and not going to put up with the crap any more.

    Hopefully you all voted...
Yes and yes! Maximum allowances in both Pacs and as an individual! And I did my share of working 4 the campaign here.... not like it mattered here as my state is pretty hard core republican nationally. We did our part to put the republicans back in power...we're only sending one Dem. Just not enough

Well said TIMMY, If you did not get out and work for the cause and participate in the political process more than just voting I guess you don't have a lot of room to complain about what it is. Our problem in America is we have all become lazy. As a result our government is getting control and not us. We are allowing them to take control little bit by little bit day by day and year by year.

This is pretty short and worth watching it is also a fierce warning that took place 43 years ago. This is Ezra Taft Benson Secretary of Agriculture under President Eisenhower in 1965 on Socialism. He became president of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints later in his life.

This is very long but I think you all will find it very interesting. Watch it when you have some time.

What happened to talking about our Tige's and the boating lifestyle? I wish this would be moved to the "Off Topic" Discussion so I don't get sucked in and read this again and get annoyed. My own fault for reading it, I know...

He is going to give a lot of people free rides on our backs. I am sure many of us have worked our tails off to get where we are without it being handed to us on a golden platter.

It gets me po'd when what I can look for is more work to support more taxes , federal. state etc. Like many I am sick of more taxes and not a fan. Hopefully it will be only 1 term. All I can do is hope and get more opposition voters next time.

Anyone with aptitude can always get more education by joining our technology based military to pick up the skills to earn what the get.In todays age yes there is a risk but many middle class sons and daughter have taken thee risk so why can't the free riders? I could go on and on but is time to frown & bear it. All I can do now is peed off the Obana fans.

I think the acronym- BOHICA is pertinent in this issue.

Then you, like me, and everyone else, should be concerned about what paths this individual will take us down.

I've read his books and am very concerned. It pisses me off that I, who've worked for everything I have, should give what I worked very hard for to someone else who whines and complains that they have been victimized by our society. I'm all for helping real victims (defined as someone who has had something happen to them that's totally beyond their control) and have been very generous with both money, time and help.

However, how do I owe these people who do nothing but complain about their situation?

THAT'S WHAT'S WRONG WITH ME!!!! What's it to you? Huh, huh?

    True Story...

So I hired a kid to come work with me for a few days last week and he asked me what I thought of the election the other day. I explained to him that I think our country made a massiveeeeee mistake and that we are headed for a really bad situation now b/c of it. But that, we'll just see... I could be wrong, but I doubt it.

The kid, who was of a darker persuasion, asked why I thought that... b/c he had obviously voted (sorry to stereotype here, but in this case it held true) for Obama. He couldn't believe I would vote republican and thought it was b/c Obama was black. So I broke down a few issues, such as educational beliefs and taxation, and the republican beliefs and democratic beliefs. Apparently the kids aunt is a history teacher at UGA and a very bigggg liberal and had steered him that way. Well.... when I broke down the beliefs, he said you know... I like that ideology (republican). He said I was the first white guy he had met that had broke down the issues... I said, no... I'm probably the first guy you've asked to actually explain his beliefs. So After I explained why I believe what I do and had the issues broke down, with him agreeing w/ the republican side.... he said he didn't know the democrats believed that way. So I then asked him why did he vote for Obama then.... my jaw dropped.... "well.... b/c he's black". I said is that the only reason?... "Well... that and I hate George Bush." I asked why he hated George Bush... he said that well... all he knows is that now he's paying more taxes than ever before. I said... do you think that your making more money now than you ever have. He said... definately... about twice as much as I ever have, and it just seems the more I make... the more I get taxed. I said EXACTLY....so I looked at him and told him... you do realize the dems want to tax you more, if you make more.... and republicans want to lower your taxes ... right? He kind of sat there in disbelief. I just left him w/ the little bit of advice to research his candidates a bit more next time.
