I think that those threads will be dying a slow death over the next few days/weeks anyways. The BCS thread is cool as it is really doesn't deal with reality, just fans opinions of their favorite college football teams, it too will be done with within a short time.

I have to agree with what sparky said, if you don't like it don't click on them. If this forum is just for Tige then I should close out the PW thread, BCS thread and any other off topic thread. I personally dont like the PW thread, if I wasnt Admin of this board I would never click on it but its part of what I have to do here. However I am not going to close it because I don't like it. Other people enjoy posting on there so I have to be fair.

The same can apply for these political/religious threads. To be quite honest the threads here are actually very tame and civil. Try viewing those same threads on another forum. Its gets ugly quickly.

Ok my you are the AD so it really should not be about fair ! It should be about what is best for the community and we the members of this community should police that. I guess when it gets to bad bring the fire and brimstone

Like Tall, I haven't even read the threads being mentioned. I just thought I would bring up what happened here in Nashville last winter. WakeBoardNashville.com was a really hot local site. Some people started getting very opinionated and that led to some people getting very pissy, and that led to the average posters getting turned off by all the drama and post's fell way off. That site was awesome and now no one ever post's up. Public forums are fun, but be cool. And if you don't like where a post is going... STAY AWAY. I would hate to see what happened to our local wake site happen here.

I rarely go to the off topic threads, so I haven't even been aware there is some bickering going on. I suppose that I might get irritated if I find someone with an opinion that I find incongruent with reality, but I don't look for that here. I can just go home if I want that.

This site is about fun, so I'll leave my arguments at home.
