One Recommendations is to see The Blue Man Group at the Luxor, you will not be disapointed, the show is worth every penny.
Really???? I was kinda dissapointed w BMG.
Jilly Tequilla is right, what do you want to do or see. I'll be there for the Western Veterinary Conference from Feb 18-22 then for a boys weekend on March 1-4. For the conference, we will be going to a magic show, and I think Zoomanity. I'm staying in New York New York, then Luxor for the guys gig. There are soooooo many restaurants it's virtually impossible to pick one out. Binions in old town has a good steak house, the seafood buffet at Belagio is wonderful, and there is a little italian joint called Batistas Hole in the Wall across from Ballys that we enjoy.
I've been to some horrible Topless Reviews, especially the one at Ballys, my favorite casino is The Golden Nugget for gambling, The Rio for partying, and NY NY/ Venetian for looks and sights. Jilly if this is your first time then just go stroll around and check everything out, maybe book one show, but just LOOK. Dont forget to hit old town, the overhead light show is worth the trip, but the casinos are cool and everything is much cheaper there.
In the past 5 years or so Las Vegas has gotten very expensive, the days of the $2 beer at the bar are long gone, more like a $5 bud light. Also the food is VERY expensive, one day last year I was in the Luxor and wanted a turkey sandwich from a little deli there; sucker cost me 14 bucks with a coke and no chips. All in all Las Vegas is amazing and I'm stoked that your going for your first time, have FUN!!!
And remember what happens in Vegas......stays in Vegas.....just look for the Adams Apple if you know what I mean, don't wanna get a suprise

We strongly recommend Mystere at Treasure Island. We have seen all of the other shows and like this one the most. O at The Bellagio would be our second option. You really can't go wrong in the restaurant department...unfortunatley there are too many good ones to recommend, unless you specify the type(s) of food. This weekend is supposed to be great weather-wise, in the mid 60's. Have fun and let loose!

    started a topic Las Vegas

    Las Vegas

Anyone out there from Las Vegas? Leaving for there this Wednesday morning for 4 days. My wife & I and another couple are going for my 50th.

I'd like a weather report and some suggestions for where to go & where NOT to go. It's our first time.

This was supposed to be a surprise for my friend & I but I accidently came accross the airline tickets. So it's still a surprise for my best friend. We leave Portland at 6:00am. My friend's wife is going to wake him up at 3:00 am and tell him to get dressed & grab the bag next to his bed and we'll be in the driveway!
Working...
