EvilOne,
How many miles/how long does it take you from Vegas to the dam?

See it sure, get in it, nah. The water is chilly right now. I'd go through Henderson, check out Lake Las Vegas and the shops there and drive a few more miles and see the lake. You could also take a little bit longer drive and see the dam.Originally posted by jilly View PostEvilone, how about a phone # so if/when I get in trouble? Just kidding, you all have been great. Good info thrown out there. In order to fit it all in there sounds like a few rough days.
Well maybe your opinion,, is the drive to Lake Mead worth the time? Jill mentioned that since we were so close maybe we should rent a car and "go see it"?
Mark
Below is a little map showing how far away it is from the strip.

That's so funny. I bought one of those guys Day-glo yellow shirt. Best 10 dollar shirt ever...especially since it came from my bachelor party. It can be seen every summer on Table rock lakeOriginally posted by Carter13 View Postjust get ready for the little people trying to hand out the porno cards for the call girls.

Mark,
My wife and I were there last August and saw the Beatles Cirque Du Solei at the Mirage. It kicked A$$, awesome sound system and lost of cool acrobatics to look at. Tickets were 125 and well worth it.
In the past we have seen Elton John at Ceasars and good old Jimmy Buffet at MGM. I highly recommend bringing a bottle of booze and some throw away cups. I usually make a strong drink in the morning and take it to the pool, then drink a series of really strong drinks after the pool in our room before showering and top it off with an unbelievably strong drink to take onto the strip on our way to have some fun. Usually I end up finishing my binge drinking with a few beers, it's a lot cheaper that way.
You will have a blast no matter what you do, just get ready for the little people trying to hand out the porno cards for the call girls.

Domszo6,
Thanks, I am!
My friends would tell you the same except I'm a little obsessed with the Tige' thing. Is that bad?

We're staying at the Stratos??
We like to drink!!, Some gambling, not a must have for very long. Probably some shows. I think I'd like to site see??, maybe look at what there is besides the gambling?? I/we're pretty open and up for just about anything. Well,,,, I,m not into the adams apple thing!, I plan on staying with team I was born with.
We like all kinds of food. Most likely we'll go out for a nice dinner at least once. The rest of the time we'll eat on the run.
Play hard, drink lots. If anyone asks it wasn't me!
Mark
