That’s with no suckgate. Just traditional listing and AVX.

I’ve only messed around with a borrowed suckgate once and could not get the goofy wave dialed in and I didn’t think I could get used to the cut through the face on the regular side.

What prop are you running? We have the acme 537. We need to re prop now with the added lead.

10/4. I have thought that was the case personally - just really no need with the results you get from the AVX.

Oh yeah, prop upgrade will do you wonders. I have a 2419 - its a stump puller. Top end is a non issue for us - all we do is surf and on a small lake now.

May be boat specific, but I run a Z1 AVX boat with a mission delta all the time on both sides. My observations between with and without.

        Speed the same about 11.6

        Without mission
Roll 7-8/8-9 deg regular/goofy while running, 7-8/8-9 deg at rest
Offside ballast in the <50 range to get it to roll over enough
        Transition trough is abrupt
Wave face is a little steeper, lip develops a little farther forward at all AVX/Taps settings
        Boat feels tippy sitting still

        With mission
Roll 5 deg while running, 2-3 deg at rest both sides
Offside ballast in the 85 range to get it to roll over
Transition trough is much wider and smoother.
Wave has more push in the back corner of the wave.
Boat feels more stable sitting still
Reduced roll makes boat feel more comfortable running or not.

Goofy side looks great. Where do you have taps and avx?

Taps at 1 or 2, AVX between 7 and 9. I've got a Z1 and it wants to pitch up, so I run a lot lower taps settings than the longer boats. Pitch is usually around 12, roll at 5.
