has anyone added any extra weight via lead or ballast bags to the rear surf side on a 2023 24rzx? Does it make a big difference in the wave? I have an 800lb fatsac that i am going to test.

I haven't played with lead on a 24' but just from having people in the boat I would recommend a minimum 300lbs in the bow especially if you're planning on adding more to the rear. This will mellow out the face and give you a bit more length. -
thanks.... i finally got surf a bunch this past weekend. Wave is great! I have heard others putting weight in the bow. I think that I will try it.Comment
