I used to ride CWB then Hyperlite and a liquid force but prior to my current board I rode two Slingshots and now riding a Ronix Phoenix I would not go back to a traditional style board the flex boards are a lot more fun to ride and I think ultimately are a savior on the knees now granted if launching into the flats it doesn't make a whole lot of difference. I've rode the SS Hooke, Response, and Recoil and now I owned last years Phoenix and about to get my hands on this years as they redesigned it, and it's a completely different board from Erik Ruck and the Ronix rep that I've talked too.
