Thats what we assumed. It may not have cured fully by the time we ran the boat.
We are going to apply some more try that and if its not fixed by then we will look into more than just epoxy.

Use the 5 minute epoxy, the other stuff might be dripping off before it dries also.

If the epoxy is not sticking ( staying in place) use a small piece of cloth.
Put some of the mixed epoxy on the tube, then lay down the cloth. Use something to push down the cloth until the epoxy seeps through. ( you might need to add a little to the top of the cloth.)
This is how we fix the fiberglass in our RC planes.
