This is what happens when dealing with the craziest summer in my life. Just now getting to some messages. No, Murphy (enovation) does the touch2.
      Oh Yeah!

Hey Guys, I have one of these touch screens I am trying to get rid of. It's brand new in packaging, (Tige PN# 413905 Medallion PN#6913-00358) I had an extra for my boat that I no longer have. 07/29/19 build date from Medallion. I'd be willing to let it go for pretty cheap. DM me if interested.

Hey Guys, I have engineered a replacement LCD/touch digitizer panel for these failing Medallion smat touch displays. My design has several improvements over the OEM:

                    - OCA film reather than glue which delaminates, leaks out, and causes lost touch response as there is an insulation bubble rather than the conductive glue in place.
                    -Dark blue anti glare
                    -Oleophobic coating.

The mail in service is basically you mail in your delaiminated unit, I replace it with one of the upgraded panels and send it back to you.

I am looking for people who can test, and provide feedback for Tige boats. Also, if anyone is in SW florida and I can test on their boat in exchange for a repair, that would be great. I would love to design a bench tester that allows me to power up the units- so if anyone has ideas on a design or equipment I would love to hear your thoughts. My contact is at the website:

What touchscreen system does my 2016 R22 have. I'm having major issues with it, no other controls on the dash to circumvent the issue.

I purchased a replacement display from MTC Screens. The fit and finish of the display was better than what was delivered from factory. It actually responds more like a cell phone versus having to apply pressure like the original TT Screen. I haven't gotten a chance to actually use it the water but I am pretty excited to have full functionality back in my boat for my next trip.

If anyone does want an OEM screen, I have one for $3000 + shipping (dealer wants $4600 + tax + shipping).

Wakeswitches Screen Solutions is pleased to announce refurbishment services for the Tige Touch 1 installed in 2011-14 Tige models. Since '22 we've been researching each problem associated with the Medallion screens featured in many wake boat brands, and developing industry leading solutions. We pride ourselves on having the most reliable replacement parts, backed up by the longest warranties at no extra cost. Check us out at wakeswitches.com

Here are the top 3 problems affecting the Tige Touch 1 display:

                              1. Delamination - The optically clear adhesive (OCA) bonding the touch panel to the display degrades over time and leaks out into the display module chassis. The void left behind leaves an unappealing bubble appearance, so this failure mode is the most obvious problem. While the adhesive is slowly leaking, it can disrupt the delicate structure of the capacitive touch sensing lines in embedded in the glass digitizer. The loss of structural support between the glass & LCD also contributes to broken digitizer sensing lines. Accordingly, users sometimes experience loss of touch response in combination with observed delamination.

Wakeswitches has partnered with Plazmo LCD, a U.S. leader in Touch LCD engineering & manufacturing to develop a replacement touch display panel for these modules that will have long term durability. We performed rigorous harsh environment testing of many bonding agents and consulted with the world's largest makers of smart phones & tablets to identify the best. Our tests of OCA film were unfortunately a failure, demonstrating areas of separation after a period just a few months. We selected a silicone based adhesive that is unaffected by UV rays and stays rigid from -80F to 280F.

                              2. Frozen Functionality - Users on this forum have noted the display module functionally locks up, and will not respond to any touch input. Often the functionality can be restored by power cycling. The cause of electronic freezing is the temperature inside the module exceeding the design limits of the PCB components on the motherboard, including chips and transistors. This failure is completely unrelated to the touch display panel, and it will continue to occur if only the touch panel is replaced without addressing the root cause.

Wakeswitches resolves this problem by installing an active ventilation system in the display module as part of our fast turnaround mail-in repair service. This system keeps the module within operating limits even on the hottest summer days. Being based in San Antonio, TX, we've tested our refurbished displays in 115F conditions. Displays that previously locked up at <100F were upgraded and continued to function normally in our hot environment.

                              3. Dark Display - The display going completely dark occurs if both CCFL backlight bulbs burn out, or if the backlight inverter powering the bulbs burns out. If the display is dim but still visible, it is likely just one of the two backlight bulbs has burned out.

Wakeswitches' advanced replacement touch display panels feature long-lasting (50,000+ hours) LED backlighting that will outlast your boat. The LED backlights are paired to a custom driver, so your dim or dark display problem will be resolved with our refurbishment service. Our display panels are also brighter than OEM, and feature an anti-glare coating.

We'd love to hear from you about your touch display needs. Check us out at wakeswitches.com

Very glad to see this! We get lots of calls about screen problems, it will be nice to have somewhere to send them once this new vendor gets some history.
