Sub Sound (or lack thereof)

Everything looks to be covered but spharis is right, at least in regards to wet sounds free air subs, can and do pound!!<---phil!!

This biggest mis nomer is "free air" In reality, there is no such thing as free air. The subs are really "infinite baffle" But free air has just become the industry name as making copies is xerox. So in the Tige's, the cavity behind the sub becomes the actual enclosure.

This type of sub is great for good bass and ease of install. You will always benefit more from having a true enclosure.

And yes, free-air subs can and do pound. I have one and recommend it to anyone looking for a sub with limited room.
