Cool, if it is hooked straight to the battery unswitched, then I would think the lights stay on all the time?

I would agree on that as well. Mine is hooked to the ignition switch, or at least it was at one time. I gotta crawl under tonight.

It's still connected. I unhooked everything from the battery in order to reset the system. Seems to work fine in all key possisions. I guess I'll see when I put it in the water.

I found the problem, I'm stupid. Here's exactly what it was doing. Remote worked in all key posisions, ACC and ON. However, when the slightest throttle was applied, remote would revert back to it evil ways. Hmmm? It's got to be some sort of voltage issue or some thing. Alright, check all connections. Wait, what's this? I'm missing the ground to ground on the batteries. Oops. Works fine now.

Maybe a grounding problem? If you're getting electrical build-up between two components, you might get that type of result. If they're not both grounded in exactly the same manner, that could be an issue. It's similar to the noise you'd hear through your speakers if your HU and amp were not grounded properly on the same circuit.
