The way our lake is set up, the side that you launch on has a gradual slope so losing vertical feet of water loses a lot of horizontal feet. The farther it drops, the farther from the waterline the top ramps get so the multiple ramps get closer and closer to the center of the lake. Make sense?

what the heck are you guys talking about 3rd or 5th launch ramp. Do they have multiple ramps for the different levels of the lake here?

Folsom is going towards their 5th launch ramp. That is the last one and that is the only one that will be utilized on the entire lake from what I hear.

BTT: My local lake is almost to it's 3rd (and I think lowest) launch ramp. We are losing a lot of water every week and I'm afraid it will just be a mud puddle soon. It usually isn't to the 3rd launch ramp until late August if it gets there at all..
