We are now up to $2.67 jumped 7 cents this weekend.

We are now around $3.20 and it's funny everyone has stopped voicing their opinion about gas prices....We all realized there is nothing we can really do but bend over and take it from the oil co. The crazy thing is that we all work to hard not to enjoy out time on the water so no matter what gas prices do this summer we will pay it just so we can have fun, because Big Oil knows you cant put a price tag on fun/family time it's the American way.

I hear ya Gman, we are only a few cents cheaper up here in Oregon, $3.10. I agree about the family/fun but once it creeps over 4 bucks a gallon that will start to make me reconsider boating trips. When tow fuel and boat fuel cost as much to go to Lake Shasta as it does to fly to Munich....then gas is too much!!

VISA's limit at gas stations = $50.00

What??? No way, I've filled up my boat many times with no problem.....I mean in order for that to work, gas would have to be $1.00 to fill a 47 gal tank and be able to use your visa. Where did you hear that??

You've never had the pump stop @ $50 on you? Then you have to hang the nozzle up and start over

I guess it's a way of limiting the loses if the card is stolen.

I hate to stare the devil in it's face, but if 6 people can ride for 9.5 hours (figuring 5 gal. per hour), that's only $31.33 per person or $3.29 per person per hour doing what we like doing.
That is about 1/3 of what a lift ticket will cost you. Maybe I'm wrong, but it still seems like a pretty good deal.

hmmm....no I have not, but then again we don't pump our own gas here in The Peoples Republic of Oregon, but I travel all over and drive a Tahoe, filled my boat/truck in California and still I don't ever remember my Visa stopping at $50 bucks.

From what I understand, pay inside, and it's not an issue.

I for one am glad that no matter how high our gas prices get, I can take comfort in knowing that the West Coast is paying more.

Yeah that irritates me so much at the gas station. I rarely have a gas bill under $50 with my 2500HD D/A. It seems lately that the limit has been rased to $75 though which I still go over from time to time.

$50 with the Debit card at Sam's Club, no limit on a normal Credit Card.
$75 with an AMEX at Sinclair's.

I think the $50 is because of the debit card and the $75 was the gas stations limit.

I'm pretty sure the limit is gas station specific.

Regular in NorNev is is around $3.10. Diesel is $2.70. Buying the D-Max is finally paying off in that department.

Boating is still way cheaper than snowboarding/snowskiing. I went to Northstar two weeks age and one, ONE, lift ticket is $71. BS.
