$3.65 at ARCO...I spent over $50 for HALF a tank. I don't let it get below 1/2 because it would cost me over $100 to fill the Expedition. Glad I'm not buying diesel...it cost $101 to fill up my ambulance the last shift I worked...from about a 1/4 tank to full.....OUCH. Let's see....80 ambulances in our county alone...times at minimum $75 a day fuel costs....yeowch!
thank god for friends with no boat's because there all willing to pay for gas in marysville 3.89 a gallon my hummer hasnt been drivin in 3 weeks because it gets 6.5 miles per gallon

I saw an article on MSN yesterday where an analyist predicted the cost of a barrel of crude to be at $180 in the next two years. He said that would put the price of regular at $5.50 or higher.
At what price will you guys hang up the towel and get out of the boating game?

I don't think $5.50 would get me out of the game, but I don't think I would be towing to Shasta or Hells Canyon anymore. $5.50 would sure get me to rethink my boating lifestyle, but I'm already vested in the boat so I would probably continue to boat until the price of gas forced me to stop. I don't know what that price is but it's probably a few bucks more than $5.50

At $5.50 that would cost me $258.50 for a full tank. With prices that high I would definitely change my boating life style, probably kill the ballast, drive less, stick to my local lake, anchor more often and use the boat less. I would probably off set the costs by eating out less and buying things that I don't necessarily need.
