Oklahoma has approximately 78,578 miles of rivers/streams (about three times the circumference of the Earth and one-third the distance to the moon.)
Oklahoma's longest river is the Beaver/North Canadian River (766 miles); the Red River is the second longest (592 miles).
Oklahoma contains approximately 1,120 square miles of water area in its lakes and ponds.
Oklahoma's largest lake in surface area is Eufaula (105,000 acres); Lake Texoma is second (88,000 acres). The state's largest lake in conservation storage is Texoma (2.6 million acre-feet of water); Eufaula is second (2.3 million acre-feet).

Really what is it about certain states that makes people cringe at the thought of living there. Iowa, N/S Dakota, Oklahoma, Texas, Vermont......I'm sure there are more

"No Fing way, if you want to move it's just you and the dog, and leave 50% of everything at the door. Oklahoma......christ"

Then again she's all hung up over Oregon, and to be honest I don't really LOVE living here. It is beautiful and there are tons of recreational thing to do but for the amount of taxes I pay I should be driving on streets paved in gold, and crapin in diamond studded Honey Buckets.

Well, I guess my #2 option was the closest to the statement she said. I deleted the original because of Tequila.... However, I wasn't sure he read the entire message but I didn't want to take the change of feelings being hurt for something I was mainly joking about.

My dad grew up in Salem, OR and he said he would never go back to OR because of what you are saying. However, retirements are not taxed are they?????
