We tried 800 in the bow, 400 on the opposite side and custom sac full and couldn't even get a wave to form yesterday. Dumped it down to 400 in the front, still nothing. Dumped the front completely and had a half height wave. Dumped the 400 leaving just the one side full andOriginally posted by skippabcool View PostI tried putting my 750# sac in the front walkway as far forward as it would go. I then had a 400# in the starboard side and the custom sac in the port side. For wakeboarding it was great, the rears filled to about 400# and the front all the way. For surfing if I had the 400# opposite surf side it pushed wash into the wave and made it crappy. I emptied that and it was ok. The wave was not as tall. For me I couldn't find a good spot. My buddy who only weighs 150# was surfing way back. The speedset was set at different settings between 11.0 and 11.6. Maybe I need to go slower? There was one driver and two wives in the corner. Water was pretty smooth. I think I like it better with just the weight in the surf corner but will do some more testing.
Perfect wave, just like it always is. Can't believe we wasted our time (again) with bow weight.

The one thing I haven't tried is putting a sac under the helm on the port side. I'd be curious to see what that does but our sessions are limited this time of year so that may never happen.Originally posted by skippabcool View PostWhich is funny because several have said that they need it. I have tried putting people up there without luck but figured it wasn't the same as the sacs.
