my new battery showed 12.6 on the charger when I first got it

now it only shows 12.3

what is the deal and is there any issues

I' think 12.3 is all you get when charging through the alternator with an isolator installed. That's where my battery is.

I think I averaged 9 mpg on the first tank of gas. 600 is a long trip pulling a boat.

Are they a good deal? We have a couple Deere stores here, I've never thought to check for batteries

They have good batteries made by exide, but they aren't the cheapest

I might check it out but I kinda like Interstate batteries. What did you get Skippa, I also like low cost high value batteries

That was why I didn't go with deere. I love my deere tractor though and I did pay a lot for it used. Could've bought several new HD ones.
