Is the red cross cover the same material? My cover has two loops on the side right next to the windshield I use to tie the cover to the trailer there. If I don't tie off the middle, the cover rides up just a hair above the rubrail when I go faster than 55. It's not a big deal if I don't tie it off but on long trips I tie it, short trips I don't worry about it.2009 RZ2, PCM 343, MLA Surf Ballast, Premium Sound.

Yes, does your cover have cutouts for the cleats? If they were 6-8" further forward mine would catch the cleats. And then I would tow with it. It scratches the gelcoat when it pops over the rubrailOriginally posted by Ewok View PostIs the red cross cover the same material? It's not a Tige cover. The dealer here has a deal with a local canvas guy, and he makes all the covers for the boats that the dealer has. He likes to deal locally; which is admirable, and I like that, but this guy S*CKS! I don't tow my boat with this cover cause I don't trust it. It's not even a year old yet (the cover), and it's falling apart.Originally posted by chpthril View PostIf its the factory Tige cover, it is designed to be a tow-able cover. Did it come with the support pole with webbing to run bow to stern to support? The OEM cover had ratchets to tighten it down and two buckles that looped through the stern lift eyes to keep the back of the cover from riding up.
