You will need to remove the CV JOINT and then the axle seal.You can usually use a socket that fits the outer edge of the seal to install it.I recommend Harbor Freight for the socket.Originally posted by skippabcool View Post

I feel your pain on the car Skippa, hopefully it's not too bad. I took my son's '98 Mazda in to get it inspected last week and the transmission is not shifting right. They tell me it needs to be rebuilt, but I'm not sure it's worth throwing money into it. He won't be home until October, so I have some time to decide.Comment
