It looks like it is more than that. I think he is just pissed and looking for a way to explain his mistake.

After reading it again my guess is there is the difference then there will be the differences in the packages, or the $5K. That being the case somewhat of a legitimate question, poor way to ask.

I guess one analogy would be upgrading head units in car. The head unit is $100 in one car from the base unit, ie F150, and $400 in another from the base unit, Expy. Everything else the same just changing the HU, both base units being the same.
