The Cimarron Split is a term for a phenomenon we experience here a lot. Storms and rain showers often split southwest of here, at about the Cimarron River, and lots of times it will rain frog floaters all around here, yet we stay dry...

The Split is nice in the spring often, as the really bad weather, i.e. tornados will pass either north or south. Right now, we need the water in the lake bad... I will try to get pics this weekend.
