PSS seal leaks under exceleration

    One end should be on the shaft log on the shafts itself.

      The end closest to the prop is secure but the end facing the bow by the collar is loose.

        The other end should be on the graphite bushing.

          Hmmm. Don't see a bushing. It's floating free on the shaft and then collar pushed up against it.

            Could the graphic bushing just disintegrate?

                Looks like you had your fingers on the graphite bushing. The hose clamps join the rubber to the graphite and should be tight.

                  Ok, that sounds right. It was really hard to see back there and what I was looking at. Anyone have and good ideas on how to depress the boot and get the set screws tightened?
