Advice for first boat purchase, $40kish budget

What's y'alls advice for purchasing a boat from the dealership vs. private owner? In the state of TX are there additional things you need to pay for when buying a used boat like TTL or something? Just looking for the pros and cons of buying from dealer vs. private owner and what differences there are, thanks!

I'd love to get an RZ2 (love the pickle fork) or even a Z1 but most I am finding are just out of my price range.

The RZ2 they have looks real good, when you add the cost of the ballast system you want/need to the 22Vé you looked at, you're not that far off IMHO.

I any case, take your time and find a boat you love within the limits you set for yourself!
