We're interested. We've been down to The Willows in Twin Cove and had a lot of fun. We'll be there in a (dare I say) a direct drive though so if any of you closet skiers want to ski we're here for ya

It is time to "fish or cut bait" and find out who is going to show up.

We will host a cookout on Saturday, August 8th at our floating house located at Powell Valley Resort. All are welcome!

Looking forward to it. We'll be bringing a 2009 RZ2 with all the goodies. I also had a call from a customer that has a 2008 RZ4. He is thinking about coming and wanted some info on where to stay. I told him to reply to this thread. I will help track down lodging for anyone who wants to come.

No clue. This will be my first time on Norris. We typically boat at Dale Hollow. One of the other guys might be able to help.

Hey all...For sure one of my rep-friends and myself are cominng down from dayton, ohio...we plan on leaving thursday aug 6th in the evening and staying through monday august 10th at least...we are just looking for details on a place we can rent a hotel or whatever close to the dock you all are going to be at-it will be him and myslef most of the time but a couple ladies over the weekend-if i could get some info on norris and what dock/section/place to stay etc...that would be great

Norris Lake is a large lake. If you are unfamiliar with it, please review the Norris Lake map and make sure that you are on the North side of the lake on the Powell River (above Day Marker 9). Otherwise, you'll be a half-day boat ride away from us.

Lodging info:

• Flat Hollow Marina - largest quantity & variety of rental options
• Springs Dock - cottages, condos & home rentals
• Shanghai Resort - cabins & motel
• Deerfield Resort - condo & home rental

Camping:
Unfortunately, I am not familiar with the local camping options (long story, but my wife will never camp with me again). I would recommend calling some of the marinas to verify what is offered.

What location is going to be the central "hub" for the activities. Just trying to figure out what places are the closest as I wont have a boat and would be coming by land to meet up with everyone.

We will probably be having a cookout at our floating house, located in Powell Valley Marina, on Saturday. I'm not sure where everyone else is staying. We can get you from any of the marinas listed above.

We will have Dinner around 6 p.m.

Hopefully, everyone will have had plenty of time to abuse their body by then. This should also allow anyone to get back before dark.

Bring an appetite and whatever you want to drink (I can't afford your drinking habits ).
