            how many ours does an inboard such as the ones in tiges last for?? when would it be considered worn out?

              I have heard figures of ~3K is the time where major work will likely be needed. There are a lot of variables to consider though... mainly driving charachteristics as well as the water you run in.

                    My buddies d drive has about 1700 hours and its just now starting to burn a little oil but he is pretty ruff on it.
