how many ours does an inboard such as the ones in tiges last for?? when would it be considered worn out?

I have heard figures of ~3K is the time where major work will likely be needed. There are a lot of variables to consider though... mainly driving charachteristics as well as the water you run in.

Consider that every 100 hours is an oil change.

thats good news then, its going to take me a few years to put those kind of hours on.
