What ever happened to the law of common sense being sufficient in most instances? Violate it and bad things MAY happen. You're an adult, you take your chances. You're a kid, and the adults in charge take their chances. Looks like I'll have to take the dang boater safety course our well-meaning lawmakers are foisting on us just to find out the esoteric laws I'm probably breaking every time out.

Honestly, I used to polish off most of a twelve pack 10 years ago whist fishing and never had an issue. We also used to run a slalom course with a 12 pack in us and no issues then either. I don't drink anything anymore but man a nice cold one tasts soooooo good when we are done. The next several are yummy too.

The idiots ARE out already. Today was the first good 80+ day here in MN, and I had to wait for about 30 mins at the ramp watching complete morons try to put their little 16 foot fishing boats in the water, whilst 6-7 other boats crowded the docks. It was funny at first, but then I started to get frustrated. It just amazes me how oblivious some people are to the fact that there are 15 boats waiting to put in, and they are situating their fishing rods taking up the ramp. UGH!

Oh, and yeah the whole riding on the tower thing....not smart. And did you say towing a tube 6-10 feet back?
