Im gonna share my story with you guys.last week I was wakeskating on the far end of my lake when I broke my leg.I kicked the ladys off at the shore and speed to the ramp.When i got there it took almost thirty minutes to get on the dock because your average boater is ignorant on water and doesn't care to learn much like every other aspect of a losers life.So I walked to my car with a broken leg cut everyone off speeding down the ramp,grabed my boat,swung it around and straight onto the trailor in about thirty seconds.cliped her on and away we went I would say in less than three minutes from dock to pulling out.I even had one guy on the dock tell me I was bad ***.Even when Im in good health it still only takes me a few minutes to load and thirty waiting on the masses.Sucked is what it was floating feet from my trailor with a broken leg and even if they new I was hurt they would have still takin there sweet sweet time.NC//OKC\\

I, along with most here, I assume, pride myself on getting loaded up and out of the way as fast as possible. Last week, I was out by myself, and granted the ramp was empty, I was still in and out of there in < 3 minutes and that included running up to get the truck. Most of these idiots have 2-3 people with them.Reality is only an illusion that occurs due to a lack of alcohol.

There is a club in town and they bought a pontoon so they can take seniors fishing for free because not many have the capacity to do so anymore, so far i know, it sounds great, the only problem is the people that do the driving and get the seniors must not be boaters, by the time they pull into the loading area it is a good 30 minutes before they are gone, and there is only two ramps there and one dock in the middle, but there is another dock about 75 feet away that does not have a ramp on its side, it is so frustrating trying to unload or load, it is a great thing that they are doing but man they need to get a clue and get a little more efficient.

I have came across some of those A-holes. I got rolled for having someone sitting on the transom while the boat was in operation. I told him numerous times to get in, but he kept on getting up there. We wont name names, but he used to be the SoCal LF rep and now works for Ronix (you know who you areOriginally posted by jleger98 View PostIn a case like that, I might offer to help, try to teach them a little. Chances are they wouldn't mind. Its these other a-holes who just flat don't care.
)
I got rolled hard by the fish & wild life officers. I blew a .083, hand cuffed, orange vest and all on the bow of his dingy from just below Topock all the way down in to Havasu.
Now I try and warn people that they shouldn't sit on the gunwhales or transom...all I get is the middle finger or other comments. Just trying to help

Did your .083 count as a DUI just like you were in a car?
Thankfully NO! Since I was in a Federal Wildlife Refuge it was a federal offense and they call it "Wet & Reckless" & it never showed up on my CA record. However the sentence was way worse:
1) $500.00 fine
2) 24hours in a federally approved jail (Seal Beach jail with cable
)
3) Boaters safety course
4) 1-year federal probation including monthly meetings, mandatory drug
testing, etc...
I barely even drink and don't ever do drugs. It was more of a waste of my time than anything
