I am sold on the Xantrex 20. Should be able to handle the two Costco deep cycles and my starting battery easily.

where can you find the t-105 for 60-80? I'm looking at getting 4 for the system i'm installing. I need to get a charger as well, so I'll look into your links you put. On the wet cells is all the maintaince you have to do is charge them at the end of the day, and then check the water levels every week or two? It's hot in Bako, so just wondering. Thanks for the info.

well that's an option for me tigeduner. The costco would for sure work. Is it really true that 2 of the 12v are going to be the same as the 4 6V? If that's the case I'll get 4 of the 12v and run them in parallel and will have plenty of juice, or maybe just get two to start off with, and if I feel I need more, then add some.
Running wire and what not is not a problem. I already have a good idea of how I'm going to do it all, so it will be really sweet when it's done. I'm going to make my own boxes for protection and stuff so I can wire them easier. Then I'll line-x it so it's waterproof!
The problem now is do i build my own box for the subs, or have someone make me a trick box. Not really sure on that one.
Wonder if anyone on here knows any sub box makers that want some side work

Making your own box shouldn't be that tough. I've been researching it and its pretty easy. Its just a matter of thinking it through and planning it out. If you have a Lowe's or Home Depot, just take your plans, and for a small fee they'll cut everything for you. The only difficult part would be if you are doing some venting etc. That might get a little tricky

4 T-105 would be 450 Ah not 230 Ah. You would only need 2 T-105' to create a 12V circut at 225 Ah. I had a nice box with the T-105 with a lid and it did take up some room. You can find some nice battery holders at places like Rex Marine (www.rexmar.com) , Dana Performance, or Eddie Marine. You can seperate your starting batter from your stereo with an isolator or a perko switch. I use a perko switch.

Yes. The way it is wired I had them put the plug inside the rear transom storage on the side of the battery. That way I can just plug it in without having to climb into the boat. I am not sure if it is something you have to buy extra or if it came with the charger. I would just find and easy place for you to get to it. The rear compartments work very well and it keeps the plug out of the way. The chargers are safe to mount in the engine compartment which is why many guys like them. The V has a lot of room where the batteries are so that could be a great place to put the charger and then run the perko inside the hatch and put the plug in next to it. It is good to do that (I didn't) I plugged in one afternoon and had to get something from the boat and realized I had the perko to off. I went with the Xantrex 40+ charger. Works great. I didn't do it once this summer, but if I were to drain down my 4 T105's, this charger would get me pretty close to full charge by the next day. Since there are two hook-ups I just disconnect my parallel connection between the two 12V strings and charge the two strings independantly. So in other words I have two 6 volts wired up for a 12V string on of the connections of the charger, and the same on the other.
I actually am performing a bit of a experiment this winter to see how well these T-105's hold up. I left one 12V string at about 50% and am leaving them all winter that way Although they are seperated into the independant 6V's and totally disconnected from everything. If I ruin them, I'll replace them under warranty. I know my trojan wholesale distributor here and I told him what I was doing before I did it, to test them. He said he'd take care of me. He said he's had customers do worse. He swears up and down these thing will spring back perfectly. Guess we'll see.Being a major OU fan and a staunch conservative....
