thought of D&P at havasu when we ran across this one the other night. D mentioned the lake being busy and I can only imagine mixing sun, alcohol, first time out boaters and a packed line and ramp. sure the popo were busy....

got our fingers crossed that sisolak will "do the right thing" with boating during his announcement on thursday night on the state of Nevada. if they do, give it a week or 2 and some of the novelty will wear off.

Our ramps are open up here in NorNev. Day use only, no camping, no bathrooms. We were going to go out today but the weather didn’t cooperate.

Maybe not direct "authority" but I am sure the NV Gov. pressured NPS to close down the facilities located in NV. The older i get the more libertarian I am becoming. Just leave me the h*ll alone and let me make individual choices based on my own risk assessment!

I hear ya! Today, our county board flew the bird to our Governor and says we can open things back up. Putting it in the hands of people to make safe, responsible decisions.

Some of the people that could not get on Mead drove the 120 miles to Sand Hollow in my town. My lake has NEVER been closed until Saturday. It was beyond capacity. There are some lakes in Northern Utah that are still open only to local residents (Jordanelle and Deer Creek), so that pushed even more people to St. George. I didn't expect to get good water, but to wait behind 75 other cars as we were all told that we could not get in was just too California-like for me.

he didn't specifically call out ramps so hopeful that they decide to open up but I'm with you that it didn't sound good. not sure who ultimately makes the decision as since arizona is open it's not up to the feds.

Enjoyed a great day at Roosevelt in AZ. It was jamming but we were able to find out our piece of heaven.

the golf courses are fine but not parks or ramps that makes soooo much sense.

well looks like all of mead is open as of today.

we talked about taking a couple of chairs to the dock and watching. its going to be a $hitshow at the ramp with most not having been on the water this year and all the pent up demand.... i dead battery away from fights
you can only get in if u have a pass already. none sold at the entrances. fights coming there as well with rangers....

worse than memorial day i bet....

to Temple Bar today. Launched at 0730 nobody there. Decent day on the wate. Loaded up in the wind around 2 and the ramp was a CLUSTER F**K. Also the main break for the marina, that big jetti of old tires, broke loose and was headed towards the main body
