Hello Again,

So I had a some reach out and help me find the new PPS sensor. Thank you very much. I ordered it through Mouser but they are unsure of the wire harness that goes from the PPS Unit to the main wire harness. Would anyone know where or how to try and track that down. It would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for any help!

I would ask your mechanic if he actually tested the electrical outputs of the PPS to determine if it needs replacing or just has a hunch based on your description of the symptoms? I have replaced the PPS (potentiometer) in my 2007 RZ2 w/Marine Power engine due to limp mode, but it did nothing. If you do want to change it, you do not have to do anything with the wiring, just plug existing wiring into new PPS and you are good go. Here is a link to thread that shows how to test and replace: http://www.tigeowners.com/forum/show...d-calibrate-it If this does not fix your issue, then kick yourself, and send your ECU to Marine Power for re-flash, because if you are loaded up with weight for surfing and have a wimpy propeller etc. the speed vs load parameters will be your issue...

2006 is typically MEFI4, follow this link for pic of the physical difference, basically 2 plugs on MEFI4 vs 3 plugs on MEFI5: https://www.custombuiltmotors.com/index-9m.html

Got it, we picked up the boat and are taking out to see how it works. The old harness had been messed with and was in pretty rough shape.(I bought the boat used last year). I will let you know if we need. Thank you!
