Ive slammed a 5. Its a very very big boat. Love the room. Best surfing taps 3 boat? I think its a hard no, but it surfs very good!

Come on Elevated...you know it is...you just don't want to trade again...

One of the nice things so far with this boat, is stock+PNP bags was pretty dang good - I think it would make the average family very happy. We threw quite a bit of lead at it...and it really made a VERY NICE wave...even in 9ft of water!

Why would I need to trade? I dont currently own a boat lol. I take out what ever I have at the shop It was zx5 a lot last month.... Its a dry rzx2 which is awesome. How big the boat is makes it really awesome. But ill keep saying it and its not a knock.... It has the running surface of an Rzx2, it surfs just like it with the ability to handle more weight. Boat is worth the upgrade with the room/look and features alone. Despite my fandom, I wont stick my name behind saying its the best surfing taps3 boat. I tell people who come in to look the same thing... Great surfing boat? absolutely. Best so far? cant sign off on that one personally.

I do love the Rzx2, I think its tiges best surfing boat out of the box its just limited due to it stance. Saying the 5 surfs clear and away better is where my dilemna is. It sets up easier then the 3 for sure, its exactly like the 2 but takes weight better given it has a bow high attitude. However, and ill say it again, on cad it is an rzx2 "in the water". Science is science it cant possibly be leaps and bounds better other then its just heavier. No replacement for displacement. You get out in a slammed Rzx2/3 that is correctly set up with similar weight and similary stowed taps 3 plates blind and you wont tell a diff.. All 3 extremely similar.... The taps 3 plates are mounted way differerent on the zx5 ask me how I know . I did alot of testing on my rzx3 with the new plate location before getting back to the guys at tige with it. Stow an rzx2/3 the same way and or switch to a gsa plate and the wave is nearly identical.. IMO that is. The new plate position should be making its way into the Rzx line soon.

I bet this gets you going a bit...I think the regular side is very similar to my AVX wave...

We need a bit more time on the goofy to have it comp ready though.

Whoa whoa whoa—If it’s similar to your AVX wave, it’s not the best surfing taps3 boat to date.

You my friend don’t know what you don’t know regarding taps3 boats. That’s not a slam, it’s maybe an assertion that you haven’t tasted the finer side of a taps3 boat. A dialed 3 is the winner.
